Why are “Slugs?” Why do they exist? What are they used for?

Slugs are still able inserts made of polyurethane for gripping purposes mostly for thumbholes. People, like myself, use them to accomplish a smooth release due to the consistency of the material.

Paul, any “Ridenour” in the Agawam, Massachusetts area? I have a good friend who is a “Ridenour” and lives there (Rob).
