I am a low tilt, high track player. Occasionally, I got first oil ring hit my thumb hole.
Recently I drilled a motion holed ball, Rotogrip Deranged. It flares over the thumb hole (the first 3 to 4 ring) most of the time. but this doesn't happen to my other mo ball, Storm Optimus Solid.
Are there any reasons for track over thumb hole for a particular ball?

Re: Flare over thumb hole
If you are not hitting the thumb on other balls I would scrutinize the fit on the Deranged.
