A thumb issue

Post by ads »

There's pox like callous at the 2nd knuckle of my thumb. After 3, 4 games, it will turn red and pains.

Anyone knows why and how to cure this?

That is a very interesting spot to get a callous. Is the top of the thumbhole too tight? Was thinking maybe some carving in that area too see if it helps. Do you have a tops3 tapered thumbhole?

Thanks Tony. I use a turbo switching thumb. No layered taping or drilling. Will do some carving to make the edge smoother.

I enlarged the thumb hole to reduce the pressure to the callous. Played 3 games and felt no more pain.

Thanks Tony again.
