back of thumb rubbing on hole, any way to fix this.
i went up to my local bowling alley on Sunday and bowled around 6 games when i noticed i tore some skin on the back of my thumb. it wasn't big but i had to finish my last two games 2 handed and my 2 handed bowling is pretty terrible (shot 58,42). so is there anything that can be done to help prevent this
couldn't really get a good picture so i circled where it was, its not bad anymore but it hurt like a mofo when it happened. my thumb hole is the right size. i think sometimes i have a habit of bending my thumb when i release. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
If I had 6 hours to chop down a tree I would spend the first 4 sharpening the axe.

Yeah that's from knuckling it. You can try some hada tape on your thumb to keep it from ripping and might try a thumb straight, tiered taping or a thumb oval to fill up the room in the slug so you can't knuckle.

Could also be caused by skin>surface adhesion in the hole. Be sure your thumb and the hole are both dry. A small piece of sandpaper can be used between shots to create a bit of dust in the hole to promote a smoother slip.
