if you can throw it, I'd order 16# for heavy oil.

understand. I know thats not an option for most. I was at a tournament that was basically a high volume Badger and all my 15lb equipment left pocket splits even sanded at 180 grit.

my 16lb old rubber spare ball, unsanded, had much better success. there must be less deflection because of the extra momentum weight. there was NO traction.

I see your specs say 18mph. thats why I figured you could handle the 16s. I'm 17mph downlane. slightly speed dominant too.

I don't feel any weight difference really because my fit is good. I can hear and see the difference at the pins though.
