Turbo switch grips

Post by Lledsmarttam »

Has anyone else experienced that the colored switch grip outers don't snap as well as the black? I had bought some yellow ones a while back and if the inner has any wear on it they barely snap in place. I thought maybe was just a bad batch but now recently I ordered some in red and seem to have the same issue? Any thoughts?

I have just about every color in my collection of Switchgrip thumbs. I have 2 black ones and one of them is loose no matter which ball I use it in. All of my colored ones still fit fine. Except in one ball where I have to fix the thumb no matter which one I use.

My fix... I have found that a small rubberband wrapped around the base and then hooking it on the locking tabs works great. You can pick up a package of 100 small ponytail holders in the hair care section of the grocery store for about $1.

They hardly snap in before they are installed. Even with a brand new inner the black snaps considerably hard than the red or yellow outers.

Eric I am talking about the outer switch grip that is installed into the ball.

I did not realize the outers were sold in different color.
I still think my "fix" would work to help snug up the fit.

Yes definitely not debating that. How long do the rubber bands last? I switch my thumb back and forth quite often.

If I am lucky I can take it in and out a couple of times before the rubberband breaks.
I only expect one though.
