Is there any chance of offering some options on color schemes or skins? The dark background with the bright green default font color can be pretty rough on the eyes when reading some of the longer articles.
Something to consider, maybe?

I agree. The green text also gives me flashbacks of working on an apple IIe, lol.
On another note, I love the ability to attach an image signature!

Re: Color scheme(s)
I personally think the darker blue with the green is relatively low contrast compared to white and black.
I look at white webpages all day long, this color seems a little easier on the eyes.
Anyhow... If you want to take a look at the site through different themes, here are a few.
http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo/3.0/?style_id=1
http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo/3.0/?style_id=10
http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo/3.0/?style_id=2
http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo/3.0/?style_id=60
http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo/3.0/?style_id=13
http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo/3.0/?style_id=20
http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo/3.0/?style_id=695
http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo/3.0/?style_id=41
If there is a real outcry over it, I'll consider a theme change.
Personally, I think it looks pretty sharp as is.

Re: Color scheme(s)
id's 60, 20 and 41 have better contrast ratios, imo. It's not HIGH contrast, or LOW contrast. The bright green on the dark blue-ish bg really is hard on the eyes when reading some of the longer articles.
Like yourself, I stare at websites all day, often because I'm building the blasted things. The sites that are easiest on my eyes are usually one with a subtle bg and a slightly darker font color. Your mileage may vary, of course.

I think a lot of people stare at websites all day wether they create them, manage them, or just surf them, and I agree that black on white is the worst of them all, with bright green on dark background next in line. I agree with kelly that 60, 20, and 41 are easier on the eyes.

Re: Color scheme(s)
I have added #60 to the available themes list.
This Blue/Green theme will be the default, but, the #60 theme called twilightBB can be selected under your User Control Panel, site preferences.
I will not be supporting twilightBB for compatibility or other aesthetic features.
I have imported the post numbering feature on twilightBB.
Let me know what you think.
Enjoy.

Re: Color scheme(s)
There is a huge list of themes in the upper left-hand corner. Are all of them available? Absolution was my favorite, I'd love to see it added to the list of possible themes.
