Re: *NEW* - MOtion Hole - Video - How To & Demonstration
Flares......bowled in a sweeper today with the Mission. Was watching the flares some as the lanes had more oil than yesterday. The flares closed up quite a bit and were into the edges of the Motion hole. Never noticed any thumps. Additionally, had to line on one pair with a hand position change to t...

Re: SO, is the "MO, how do I lay out my ball" question dead?
Just got through watching the MOtion hole video. Seems as though worrying about the specifics of the individual layouts has become somewhat of a moot point. Now, according to this video, everyone with a pap of 5 inches and over will drill the pin next to the ring finger, and those who have paps les...

Re: *NEW* - MOtion Hole - Video - How To & Demonstration
Triplicate - I want to thank you for your time to run the Mission thru the BluePrint software. I have decided not to do anything with the ball. With the additional information of the layout to use for asymmetric balls I don't believe I would get the full effect of the MOhole using the existing layou...

Re: Radical Testers Picked..
First off, I want to thank everyone for their interest in throwing the Radical Brand. I considered over 200 people from the 3 websites, read every email, but only have a small handful of balls to send. Here are the two people I have chosen from this website: KellyTehuna Drinyth Take care, hopefully...

Re: Finger holes pitch question - will holes intersect
MegaMav - just a personal preference. I cringe a little when it happens. I've had them intersect before.....sometimes they hold up sometimes they don't.
distjamb - yep, left handed... . Thanks for the info.
Thanks again Gentlemen

Re: *NEW* - MOtion Hole - Video - How To & Demonstration
Triplicate This may be a good candidate to do blueprint on. I've got a Mission 13# 14 1/8 oz currently has a Double Thumb 13/16"x 3" deep (centered 1 1/2" left of thumb hole) PSA is 1" left of center of thumb hole, Pin is 1 1/4" above ring finger and offset 1/4" to the ...

31/32" diameter (both....for grips)
middle finger pitch = 1/8" right
ring finger pitch = 3/4" left

How critical is the 4" depth of the hole? Will 3" work ? 2"?

Requesting Benchmark, Control & Midlane layouts
Gentlemen, would like your input for benchmark/sweet spot per my specs for both symmetric & asymmetric. Since I'm asking might as well ask for control and midlane layouts too. average = 215 - 220+ left hand PAP = 4" x 1" up Speed = 18-19 (off hand) Revs = 275 Axis Rotation = 50* + Axis...

Re: offset thumb or long ring finger span?
Well put Kelly. What people do not realize is that not only does incorrect fitting promote improper release it also causes pain and injury. This may not be immediate either. And can be chronic over the long run. This is put off as the "nature of the beast". The old style fingertip grip str...

Re: Clarification of Terminology in Mos Conventional Fitting
Ditto to JohnP's post. Additionally that's still a long span for a fingertip unless you've got a really big hand. Following links should be all you need. From experience I found it best to read first, reference while going thru the fitting process, and reference each time thru the triple checks. And...

Re: Thumb hole position in relationship to fingers?
This is more a general question. Looking at bowling balls and drilling sheets you usually see that the thumb hole is dead center between the two finger holes. Why is that? The basis for drilling (and checking static weights) is the centerline (both vertical and horizontal) of the grip. In this case...

Re: offset thumb or long ring finger span?
Been there done that......Offset thumb is a waste of time AND a ball. All reasons others have stated plus more. You didn't state if this is a permanent or temporary condition. If temporary (and I'm not a doctor) let it heal (also get fitted correctly - see below) If permanent and you've been medical...

Used to be: "heads" = foul line to 20 ft "mid lane" = 20 ft to 40 ft "backends" = 40 ft to 60 ft (headpin) If there are wood lanes in your area, take a look at them. About 5 ft past the arrows you'll see the "splice" where the lane transitions from the maple (...

Ain't it funny how sticking a picture of something you want on the refrigerator and then you get it.
My Santie Claus gift was a "LocoMotion" (quite by accident though). Had it a week contemplating what lay out to use.
Enjoy your ball spinner!

More wrist cock (not cup) might lower your track off of the thumb and give you a different look. If you are into changing your grip specs, go to the wiki and get a wiki fit and post your specs to see if you are a candidate for a performance fit. Want to add it would be a very good idea to follow &q...
