Re: Manufacturer/factory "Seconds"?

the X-out balls are the ones with asymmetric cores where the cg is wildly out of line with the mass bias (90 degrees for instance) Other factory seconds could be wrong color, long pin - cg distance (more than 5" for instance), stupid top weights or something else that would make the ball hard t...

Form comments / improvements request

Good Morning, This young lad is a customer of mine, and is currently going through a rough patch. The only coaches we have in the area are european level 1 (new bowlers) and nobody is able to help him. So I'm here posting on his behalf, hopefully you can help put us on the right track. Note he is on...

Re: Differential and Flare question

Robert, Sorry for not responding sooner, Mo is in Vegas until next Friday. The flare of a bowling ball is related to the Pin to PAP distance and the affect that has on the Axis Migration paths. Flare is taken into consideration in drilling technique through pin to pap distances. The amount of flare...

Differential and Flare question

Good Evening Mo, I have not been able to detect any studies that relate the pap and the differential of a bowling ball. All differential measurements, including those in your own studies, relate to the total differential of the bowling ball and are irrelevant to the pap. I would assume that the amou...

Living in Greece has it's perks, and it's drawbacks

Not being able to attend this seminar is a major drawback.

Unless I will the lottery till then :)

Re: The great wall of Hazard layout

I would hazard (no pun intended) a guess to say that the layouts will be similar to what you would see on any other house shot. You would want something that would give you a good mid lane read with good continuation on the back end. The danger with the Great Wall of Hazard, is making sure you don'...

Re: The Jennifer saga continues...

Is there any chance you could video a few shots ? As adrenaline said, tamper with surface first, As jakester said, maybe all three fingers are exiting the ball together. Usually fit changed take a while to get adjusted to. Maybe the thumb hole needs a little tlc from your part till she feels comfort...

The great wall of Hazard layout

Dear Mo, What do you believe are the best layouts to take advantage of a walled up house shot, in order to maximise error margin, and "always" be lined up. I won't give bowler stats, but let's instead try three different normal bowlers: bowler A: Tons of hand, not enough lane for me bowler...

Re: MoRich FTW!

This is a great post, lots of info, lots of discussion. What strikes me as most interesting however, is the fact that three of the best bowlers in kelly's house, - all picked up your ball after the league - it fit them all - they were all lined up - They threw an 18 bagger between them, all flush Wh...

Re: PAP Path

The PAP will migrate down the outer edge of that overlay, until AR = AT = 0. At least, thats how I interpreted that. I don't think that's what he meant. The overlay is merely a tool, to try to help us visualize what he is writing in the text. I think that if he meant that they migrate linearly to 0...

Re: Roll

I'll say this just once. If a bowling ball is thrown within the gravitational field of the Earth, IT CANNOT BE THROWN WITH MORE AXIS TILT THAN ROTATION! Axis tilt must be = to or < than axis rotation! I'm trying to get my head around this one. I know you said you would only say this once, but I hav...

This comment is properly placed in the OPINION forum. That is why this forum is here. There's no basis in fact to your comments. I'm sure we can find someone to help you understand modern ball motion and modern ball dynamics, if you'd like. Indeed this is the opinion forum. Note I didn't say anythi...
