Re: Thoughts and corrections for my shot?
You have early timing, the ball gets to to foul line to far ahead of your feet, this is why you fall of your shot, (lose balance), so delay your push away to fix this. Also the pivot step (step before slide) is to big , make it smaller, this will give a flat spot to make delivery of the ball more co...

Re: USBC New Ball Specs
This is what I see happening: Tournament does not have to be sanctioned and the tournament manager has the final say. If it is sanctioned by the USBC, the changes would be enforced. Ok, but what if its under WB, so it has to be sanctioned..i am talking about a major comp, world wide bowlers. Also I...

Re: No more motion hole
If a balance hole that removed part of the core was then plugged, with the plug being of lighter material, would the inbalance still be there?

Re: USBC New Ball Specs
A balance hole was used to make the ball legal, if that balance hole is filled, the ball is now still legal because of the new static weight rules...correct?

Pro's coach's?
Who coach's the pro's?
Just a query after some discussion in our Saturday morning coaching session.
Do they have a regular coach, and if so who are they?

Re: wet sanding vs regular
I wet sand by hand in the sink and it comes out dull. I have read a report when the balls have been scanned after, to get the same or close as grit been using to same on ball is to dry sand, but lighlty. So if dry sand lighlty, with a 2k grit, that will show after scanned to be just over, most spinn...

constant 7 10 leave
Our centre on lane 4 is often leaving the 7 10, about 5 times in the last 2 weeks.

tape on pin
I listened to Mo mention he puts tape on the pin to see how the ball rolls. Would this be better then tape on the pap? It would be easier to see when the ball is getting in its roll to the pocket.

Re: 6" pin?
With the 6"pin to pap on medium oil this is working great, its so matched up i strike at will, 1430 last week, and getting 1300's other weeks at league. I guess i just got lucky with the layout.

The truth some time hurts too. Ironically, if no one counts on me, I may feel useless. but if she does not bowl well it does'nt really matter, Thanks Ads, your line about no one counts on me, is a important one to remember too, she hasnt made the team just to make up the numbers, and we dont want t...

Re: Lower avg team member
Create a relaxed environment. Watch for phrases that can create stress and tension. Don't say "Come on, we need a mark!". Instead, say "Take your time, stay relaxed. Make a good shot." stevespo, your comment above says alot, the team mates putting pressure on the bowler makes it...
