35 x 4 7/8 x 40, is correct.
pap is 5" 3/4 up.
i marked the first oil ring and measurered across the ball to get 20*, as i dont have access to a video.

Re: crictical theory
perhaps i am writing this wrong, so i checked the angles my ball driller measured... 35* drilling angle, 4 7/8 pin tp pap 40* to the val. with a 2" pin buffer. so 35 x 5 7/8 x 40. this the correct way/info written? the 5 7/8 is pap to centre grip, so there is no confusion with me writing this, ...

Re: crictical theory
dont know my axis rotation, yes i agree the C T is too strong for the house pattern, last night i bowled on 42f oil pattern, CT worked rolled well but no turn/hook, my nano and hammer trap did. i dont have much 'hand' but those two hooked, but the CT just rolled straight. i live in Wellington, we ha...

Re: crictical theory
i guess my bad, but some leeway should be allowed as we dont all know the lingo spoken here. i dont know the dual angle for the lay out iam writing about, but would 4 x 4 strong hook be ok to describe a strong layout for the most flare / hook. my wife was reading over my shoulder and read the last c...

Re: crictical theory
drilled crictal theory finger holes deeper to allow for new balanane hole at p4, there seemed no difference to me, the balamce hole was only moved about 2 inches, is that enough to make a noteably difference? gave the ball a oil extraction, but kept the surface to 2ooo. on our normal house pattern t...

'Guidelines for high track players is that the pin must be less than 4 3/4" from the PAP and ABOVE the finger line.' above is quoted from another post...is this my wifes problem with the ball track over thumb hole? her ball has been drilled wrong? dont know her pap but the pin is one inch below...

new pins
do old pins and new pins react differenty? should they be replaced in the middle of a month long competition? or not? would there be an advantage to those that have not yet bowled with the old pins, but coming into this to bowl with the new pins? comments would be helpful to help me if a complaint i...

a friend in my league throws a straight bowl, and does well with it as hes in the pocket most times. a hook ball has 3 phases: skid hook roll. a straight bowler would only have 2? skid roll? am i correct in thinking he stills gets a good hit in the pocket when his ball enters the roll phase and has ...

balance hole/gradient line balance hole
I am new to Morich bowling/drilling, so this type of drilling to get extra motion or fine tune the roll is new and exciting. my question is with the PAP to PSA drilling, to allow this to happen, how do you know the ball can be drilled in these areas. i have a ball with a balance hole up passed the f...
