Re: layout

So, what number do you pick for drill angle,so the pin ends up in the ring finger with my specs? By ignoring the CG (for the most part) the True DA on a symmetrical ball will end up 6-3/4" from the pin on a line thru the thumbhole where the 'mass bias' of a drilled symm will be within an inch or so...

Re: 2 Leagues, same center, same night?

I wouldn't try bowling in both on the same nite/time frame. I'd see if you can pre-bowl for the make-up league. Unless you actually like running around like a madman...LOL!

Re: For Nord: Full roller vs Modern Release Experiment

So now krava you are analyzing yourself yet again. Sorry I see no progress here to speak of, truly. Same ole same ole, little has changed. I have to ask. What is the purpose of you wanting to change? {end goal/objective?} Foul line drill - 1st 7 mins = waste of time -done all wrong. What/ Did you t...

Re: Brunswick DOT

Question : As i recall, there are 3 types of asymmetric balls in relation to the pin : 1.pin asymmetric (most of the mass of the core near the pin) 2.mass neutral ( most of the mass of the core near the center) 3.pin away asymmetric (most of the mass of the core, on the opposite side of the pin). S...

Re: Obstacles in the way when bowling/max opens in 200 game

Here ya go - Poles AND above ground ball returns. Try standing left of 25, I dare you. 10 pins cross lane forget it, unless you like slamming your right foot into the ball return. What fun!!!!

imagonman: I watched EJ tacket. From what I am seeing is there is no completely straight backswing. I don't care about his backswing that's not the point I'm trying to get you to SEEE! He lets the ball swing to the top and then he takes it and completely takes control of the direction he wants it t...

Why we bother is beyond me but here goes 1 last time.

in particular see 10:50 for hand positions & LISTEN to Duke @ 15 mins. See Tackett's open hand {Nike swoosh} @ 20:40 in follow thru. {Doesn't look anything like yours}
Good luck!

Re: Please Help: Pitches in Fingers causing Wrist pain

Forgot to mention that. Ill edit the OP. But no I did not length the span. Original span was like 5 1/4. When I made the pitch changes, we shorten the span to about 5. big hands. Well, assuming????????? that @ 5-1/4" {very large & rare span, but possible} was/is a proper fit & not overstretched, ad...

Did you lengthen your span when going to the new reverse finger pitches? Any change at all?

Re: Coke can overlay help

Neither. Your hand is wide open. The entire reason for this test is to find the natural thumb hinge flexion when grasping. These are not telling you anything. Think more along the lines of closing your hand more like when you make a fist. You wouldn't not make a fist & attempt to punch with this han...

Re: For Nord: Full roller vs Modern Release Experiment

Some bad advice right there. He needs to drop his shoulder more. Figure 8 BAD @ this point. This ain't no quick fix! Dropping the right shoulder AFTER he fixes the left foot slide to more under him NOT away as is present, will be easy & he'll be on balance. He falls away now, don't need him on the ...

Re: The low flare layout on asymmetrical balls

I've disputed it and got no response. Rebuttal or not, it isnt accurate. It doesnt really matter in the end because we cant chance symmetrical ball drilling angles with a hole. Accuracy involves technicality and it may be beyond what they want to convey. ……...and technically I agree w/ you. Why he ...

Re: The low flare layout on asymmetrical balls

Im about to blow a gasket, I see this too much. Its not accurate, even the Radical facebook page has said this, not good! In a drilled symmetrical ball without a balance hole the PSA or High RG axis will be 6 3/4" from the Low RG axis within 1/2" of the centerline. Yeah, then argue & blow a gasket ...

Re: The low flare layout on asymmetrical balls

The question is : is it possible and correct to use the layout which puts the PSA in position further than 6-3/4 " from the PAP on an asymmetrical ball (on symmetrical one's it is not a problem besause the first angle doesn't have any impact on ball motion ... Am I right? It does so have an impact,...

Re: For Nord: Full roller vs Modern Release Experiment

So you've been working on getting the ball closer to ankle & under head for over 2 yrs. now - not accomplished yet! You did some foul line & 1 step drills once or twice recently - Now in these videos you're doing a comparison between a Full Roller & 'modern' release, which you have NOT mastered, & a...

Re: Confused about Pin to PAP distances?

There was nothing new in this video. Mo has been preaching the same information for 8 years via this site. Now it is more important because drillers can't fix a screw up with a balance hole. Surface is the only tuning method once you put holes in it. Just wait the USBC might outlaw any balls that h...

Re: Bowling in 1980?

Yeah, and if I hit that cover w/ 80 grit it won't get to 10ft. or right of the 15 bd. & once it finishes it's hook phase probably won't hit any pins & be in the left gutter by 50ft. Mo specifically talks about this in the latest video seminar - @ around the 49min mark. The New Reality of BALL MOTION...
