Talk to the manager about buying games for the month/year/season up front at a discount.
20, 50, 100? That will drive the price down.
Bowling centers can be negotiable.
Yeah that's like here, we have the Players pass which you can get a month of Unlimited practice for about $25.

Re: Bowling games price increase

If you go here: https://bowlholidaylanes.com/Pricing that is what it was before and still there. I went in there today and was shocked. I didn't find out that I could do an hour of bowling for $7.50 for league bowlers until about 3 days ago. I got to use it one time. Amazing all the time you've bow...

Re: Getting Fingers on the inside of the ball

I took video trying to play 4th arrow and I thought by holding my hand in the same postion the entire length of the swing, i would end up in the proper place and I didn't. I was always on the outside of the ball. "I took video trying to play 4th arrow" It would have been more helpful if you had pos...

Why do we see so many same lady fans present in the audience at so many events in different locations?
Well if the same bowlers are there, then wives and girlfriends will show up often you might see them repeatedly.

Re: chamois

Thanks for the reminder, it's time I cleaned mine. I use Dawn dish soap and water. Soak the chamois, scrub, rinse and dry like has already been explained above. Dawn dish soap was found to be good enough to clean the oil off the wildlife after the Exxon oil spill without causing more injury to the ...

Re: chamois

how can you de oil one ? thanks steve s You basically treat it like a car chamois, you got to use a very mild soap. Don't use dish soaps, laundry detergents, chemicals , alcohol or you'll remove the natural oils from the leather. A Chamois usually get stiff because they get too dry and the loss of ...

Re: IRTC changed Specto info and sheets this week with different info etc

I would put zero faith in the rev rate, remember Specto had Norm Duke at 430 revs playing straight up 5. Yeah a lot people wondered about rev rate on specto and how it's calculated and what affected it. I just remembered Kegel posted a video about calibrating Specto a couple of months back. In the ...

The pattern is something called the White Pine Beetle (which I looked a few min ago and couldn't find info on) But the pattern is the following: Well at least they gave you the pattern sheet. I didn't go prepared Well you learned a lesson then, at least bring some pads with you so you can adjust yo...

Re: Video "Bowling Layouts for the Modern Game Part 1"

Mav, I may owe the reading community an apology. Ron's Layout #2 with pin-in-finger may not be Mo's Layout-C. Ron has the Blueprint snapshot of Layout #2 as 80 x 4.5 x 40, and that appears to be the values entered into Blueprint. When I model it and draw it out on a bowling ball, it does not put th...

Re: High RG balls

Under what conditions or during league on THS will a high RG ball fit? At the simplest High Rg balls essentially skid a little farther (A lot of times this is referred to as "Lope" by old schoolers) before "reving up" and making a move than low Rg balls would. So In general You basically would use ...

Re: Proper lane play on this one condition

thanks 44 boyd I will try the 7 arrows thing. I mentioned it before when I saw the brad and kyle blog talk about it. I will need a fresh lane with no carry down to do that. You don't necessarily need a fresh lane with no carry down to do that drill. In fact you'd probably be better off not knowing ...

I know it is a team sport so blame should be on the team and not just 1 person. Given if you believe that, Then you've answered your own question. On Wednesday we lost the 1st game really bad, barely won the 2nd, then the 3rd game we were up by 90+. How did it go in you're other post "I need to tea...

Found & saved this for good measure. Agree? Best to be matched #3?? That chart has been around for many years and is what is commonly referenced (it's in the BC wiki) when checking to see if a player is matched or dominate one way or the other in regard to speed or rev's. Q: How much difference is ...

The only reason I showed the score picture is because my cousin had them print out the scores. I didn't ask for them. he wanted to rub it in my face that he beat me. (he is averaging 136 on thursday) so you can see why he did that. I would to if I were him probably. This apparently wasn't a "practi...

Re: Proper lane play on this one condition

I have no probably moving. (You meant to say no problem moving). I can play anywhere on the lane from inside of 5 to 4th arrow. I will say this, I will struggle like hell, if I have to keep the ball from going right of 10 (playing 3rd or 4th arrow). If I don't have that room from 8-10 then there wi...

Re: Proper lane play on this one condition

TL;DR: Krava struggles on different patterns because he won't move off the track. Short version: Lane seemed to have Light oil and LONG probably 45 feet. Oil was probably oiled 3-3 or 5-5 or something. Alot of hold on the inside and nothing on the outside. There is almost no backend reaction at all....
