Re: Del Warren on Phantom Radio Mar. 3 2021

I just went there and did spot checks at 5 or 6 intervals and the audio is present.

Someone may have reported the problem.

Thanks for the problem report.

Re: how far would you go to get a ball drilled

Don't assume off the bat that you need to drop ball weight, let the PSO help you with that decision. He or she will measure and assess flexibility ...

Re: Poll - Keep ball reps out of active competition?

I think John did the old double switch on you. The poll question asks: Should Ball Company Reps be allowed to Interact with bowlers during a match? The good news is that votes may be changed. MegaMavs discussion thread has arguments for and against this question. This poll has drawn more votes than...

Buff99 (Joe?) I viewed your video via the link on you tube and noticed you have several older videos out there. You might consider posting some for any coach that might want to contrast that with you now. Also, if Jim gave you a lesson plan, include that link. By the way congratulations on the weigh...

Re: Opinion: Keep ball reps out of active competition

The conversation was good food for thought. Without differing of opinions, there is less opportunity for growth. Exhibiting passion is evidence of caring.

Stay safe everyone!

For you football fans, enjoy the game. Hopefully a close competitive exciting game, no flukes, no injuries.

Juststartin, welcome to Bowlingchat. Many Bowler's include a ball dedicated to converting spares (polyester, aka plastic) The saying "straighter is greater" rings true for converting spares, especially corner pins. Check out the Bowlingchat wiki, it is a very diverse resource. http://wiki.bowlingcha...

Skujo, to an extent, your diet is a variable. Sodium content will influence water retention which might induce temporary size change. Skin condition, dry, moist, plays a roll. As tomahawk said, proper and consistent grip pressure is very important. Food for thought On the wiki http://wiki.bowlingcha...

Re: Beginner two hander form critique

Welcome to the forum J. When coaches take videos of a bowler, they do so from a minimum of two vantage points: rear and side view. Some, like Mark Baker, will use an additional angle from the front on the swing side. Here are some tips on preparing a video for analysis. http://wiki.bowlingchat.net/w...

Dung23 First draft. I will start the ball rolling. Caveat, I am not an experienced instructor. So why am I answering? Back in the early 2000's I certified as Bronze then Silver coach via USBC. Note that USBC when I certified, did not teach people how to instruct or groom instructors. There is a huge...
