Tish Johnson bowls locally in a few of the bigger scratch leagues around here, as does Jen Petrick (just bowled a thanksgiving tournament against her).

Re: This is how I feel sometimes as a ball driller
Story of my life. I have the added bonus of being only 19 and thus much less knowledgeable than the local "strike-at-will" house bowler. Got to love the sterotype, I know the feeling of trying to explain something to a older guy just to get it shot down due to age, if I was wrong that's o...

Quick Question
What would cause a ball to flare over the Ring Finger and Thumb Hole? I have 2 balls this happens to, a Roto Grip Quest and a 900 Global Bounty Hunter, the quest is pin beside the ring finger and the bounty hunter is about 1 1/2 inch above the ring finger (both are VERY close to 4 inch pins), both h...

New Video
Here is a new video I took a few days ago, i would have to say after watching my balance is a lot better (epically when i dont run to the line....). After the lanes had a few games on them, they wanted me to play some crazy deep lines so i did for a few. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCnCGQKWIL8 en...

Re: Condition specific balls
What to you guys would make a ball "condition specific"? and on that note What is a bigger factor to making a ball condition specific, the Ball itself, the layout for the ball, or the bowler? i guess its a unfair question but im wondering what other bowelrs out there deem condition specific.

I like the comment "can we put Norm in the chair also" and on that note, im pretty sure Norm isnt going to be the one to try that im pretty sure that there just going to pull Robert Smith out of the background to attempt this cause i cant see Barns, Rash, Duke (the chair is taller than him...

Re: Rule Question-Where a Bowler Can Start
Before i learned how to shorten my steps and get in front of the ball return, i always started left of it and walked right instead of drifting.
Thanks for finding this out scotts.

Re: Need help on Ball Selection
i believe that the clutch would handle the same amount of oil but not nearly the control of a Cell, i dont think there is anything out there thats close to the reaction and control yet still aggressive in oil, if you want something cleaner through the heads then look at the Rogue Cell.

Re: Intimidation
I almost never feel intimidated cause I believe is me against the pins, never against somebody else, if you try to beat the other person and focus on his game more than your own 9 times out of 10 you will lose, only focus on what you can control is how I approach my league every week.

Re: Describe Your Lane Condition for League
The shots I bowl on are a tale of 2 different nights The Thursday night league is prolly the heaviest house shot in the city, I forget the exact length but i believe its somewhere around 40-41 feet, its closer to a top hat THS, fairly flat in the middle but outside is still there to back off of, lot...
