Re: crux prime
First league night with this. No 300 or 800 still getting use to new span. solid 661 scratch I will say this, while got off to a very shaky start lack of practice time, this ball does what I was hoping for. 42' med heavy house shot. 1 this house is well known for a nasty hang area around the 12 boar...

Re: crux prime layout 42' med heavy oil
may look into that physix. On a side not my pso and team mate suggest trying a asymmetrical for better lay out possibilities. Previous try was not high enough total.

layout for ebonite gb2 mvp 42' oil med heavy volume
15lbs so my speed is high 15ish mph off hand. Experiment ball. Hoping to open up the lines some. transition usually means moving right and tight. Then back to where it starts late in 2nd game. At 6'4 and 260 tight line don't play well. inside of 13 heavy oil, 7 to 13 med heavy with hang area. 7 and ...

ball for wet/dry that transitions to carry down. Suggestion.
These lanes also have plenty of head oil. inside of 13 is flooded. 42' med heavy volume. Also dropping from 15lbs to 14lbs. more consistent ball speed 14 lbs at 18mph off hand. 15lbs 17 mph varies 1mph or more usually slower thru 3 games. weak/med 15lb wont drive , strong 15 can't push it far enough...

Re: Your Most Memorable Moment In Bowling?
Really lame compared to the first 2. 1) Met And got Earl Anthony's autograph at a youth's Elk's lodge tourney as I was a kid. I'm 53 now. Not to many pro's came to Huntsville AL back then. The only 2 locals that made the show Jimmy Certain, Tony Churchy. 2) Met Mr and Mrs Ernie Schlagel in Gretna LA...

Re: hustle ink layout for short oil low volume dry
finally drilled this ball, pin 5.5" p2p, 45 to the val. awesome easy length. with a nice bump on back end. Think I'll wet sand 3 or 4k. great for going up the lane and not swinging a bunch of boards. it does not like oil or carry down just like the columbia full throttle 2.5" p2p I had jus...

thumb, finger hole depth = ball reaction
Beings balance hole is no longer legal. I don't use them anyway. In laymens terms 1) Ball reaction having a deep thumb hole. 2) Ball reaction of fingers drilled deep 3) Ball reaction if one finger drilled deeper than the other. I am plugging and moving the thumb hole about 1/4" down/longer span...

Re: All Urethane.
Not that I am a pro, far from it. A few times I've tried new ones, were not good results for scoring, but I use the new blue hammer for spares. Good for practice. Also have a global 900 shadow ops never was crazy bout it. even back when urethane was the was king I still wasn't good with it then. Now...

Re: IT vs Switch Grip
I have switch grips. 1st four that were that were drilled the tabs on them broke. Of course at a tourney in another city and no other house uses them. After close examination I determined that the pso drilled down too deep and got into the inner sleeve. He replaced them at no cost and was more caref...

Re: hustle ink layout for short oil low volume dry
In short, flare reducing layout on high diff ball or lower diff ball needs some pin length to help on late midlane.
What pso's always gave me in the past was a high and increasing flare layout on every ball i bought till now. Thanks to this website and current pso that will never happen again.

Re: Pin to pap symmetrical ball only, curiosity, non 2 finge
Got It, Thanks. was Mostly bout the 3oz rule no balance hole. So the the cg will still need to fall somewhere between the pap's pos and neg axis points "horizontal", and fingers and thumb hole "vertical". Based on how much top weight the ball has, and the final layout/drilling th...

Pin to pap symmetrical ball only, curiosity, non 2 finger
Noob Thinking out loud bout Mo's cg don't matter videos. Just curios. So basically if a person wants a 5" pin to pap one could just draw a 5" circle completely around the pin then continue with the val line, and then center of grip line in accordance with the persons actual pap measurement...

Re: hustle ink layout for short oil low volume dry
Sorry for delay reply fell asleep. Yes, all are symmetrical. The layouts are done by the prior pso. I watched him layout the show off and the marvel. 6 7/8" Line from pin thru cg. no balance holes. the new guy just took over, though he was the pso at another alley that just shut down. elgavacho...
