Re: Medium length/heavy volume sport patterns kill me. Help

if you are hitting past the pocket on the left, move back on the lanes. If your hitting the head pin, move up.

Re: Rght lane playing far left, ball return in the way

WWBD(what would Belmo do)? He starts at his normal approach spot then side steps in front of the ball return.

Re: FINALLY - normal comes back

Absolutely - but have you ever bowled a reverse block pattern? See if you can find someone to lay it down for you. . . I've only heard of one league that used it, and it was part of a cycle they used - they had it for like a month before rotating to another pattern. It was a BIG money league - and ...

Not trying to be harsh here but...

"If you can't adjust, you're not good enough"-Me.

If you need absolute silence, perfect lane conditions and only use a specific ball, then you really need to rethink your game.

BB surface those in the know.

So on the latest CTD video, Ron claims all balls eventually end up with a 4700 grit surface, no matter what. Some questions for those that are in the know: - Is that a true statement? I have seen Ron measure the surface of lane shine balls and they all appear around that 4700 mark. - If it is a true...

Re: question regarding the tournament ball (two fingers)

Dear All Kindly note that we have a player that is playing with no thumb (just two fingers), according to the new rules and regulations (if I am correct), states that either the player's ball will have the thumb hole or the balance hole. Two Questions: 1- when did this rule come out (how long ago),...

Re: All Urethane.

Yeah, the Covert Tank is not actually urethane, but it's not resin also. I drilled up a Fever Pitch, and not simply based upon reaction, but how that material cuts from the drill bit, I very much doubt the "urethane-esque" (as Storm puts it on their website) material is true urethane as w...

Re: What factor dominates a THS bowler for ball reaction?

First I want to say that I am in no way trying to disparage anyone and will welcome rebuttals to what I'm about to posit. If my assumption are wrong then please correct me, as I'm always eager to learn. I have always read that surface on a reactive ball whether solid or pearl is the most important ...

Re: Custom drilling worthless?

From what I know Mo is the only one publishing anything about the no thumb layouts. This doc you reference does not take into consideration the specific ball like on his typical recommended layouts for each specific ball he has out. I have a hard time believing you when you say you have 14 balls al...

Re: Custom drilling worthless?

First off I do not know of any manufacturers that have no-thumb layouts on the drill sheets. If you know of any please post a link. For the talented bowler adapting/changing of the release to manipulate the ball to a desired roll is second nature quite often taking place on a sub-conscience level. ...

Custom drilling worthless?

(I'm ready for the heat) So on Mo's latest video, he says that the PAP should be measured every 6 months as it changes. He said in previous videos that the PAP is always changing. With this in mind, what is the point of the PSO going through the trouble of custom drilling(besides proper fitting) whe...

Re: Solid vs. Pearl Bowling Balls with the same surface comp

Okay this video was just supposed to be showing that you could sand pearls and polish solids plus shilling CTD and Trucut products. But what it winds up showing is that there is basically no difference between Solid and pearl versions of the same ball with the same surface texture on it. They used ...

The clear..or not so clear.

A new product from CTD called the clear is in the works. Apparently, when your ball loses reaction, you sand it, then soak it in the clear for an hour, then use their other product to remove what is called, hazing. This imbues a "tachifier" into the ball and restores its original factory f...

More importantly. what can we expect to see? Less oil being used(to save money) or more oil being used(to protect lanes)? Please post theories!

Re: Gripping holes

so - not really trying to make you buy MORE bowling balls, but rather to buy the same number as that of a conventional style bowler. If a no-thumb bowler (2-hand or 1-hand) can get three balls (ish) out of one ball, that's a distinct advantage over those of us who cannot do the same. It's not an at...

Its also an attempt to make you buy more bowling balls. A tri-grip can give you six bowling balls in one.

Re: How Effective is Dynamicore?

Last night I threw a Shadow Ops(Urethane reactive mix with an asym core) vs the True motion(pure urethane with dynamicore) and the true motion hit harder and carried more. 11 games bowled there was a 20 pin difference in favor of the true motion.

Please don't hate me LOL.
