Roto Grip Halo
Which if the current balls from Storm/Roto/Global would be most like the Halo?

Ball cleaning after league pearl vs sanded
After a three game set of league bowling ( 41' typical house shot if that matters), what do you do to clean/touch up a pearl or polished ball vs a sanded/solid ball. While still at the lanes before going home. Example Proton Physix vs Astrphysix or even a UC2.
Different cleaners used?
Thanks

BTU?
Probably a dumb question--or an uniformed bowler. When bowlers refer to their "BTU" especially when trying to add surface or make adjustments on the lane,is that a particular urethane or brand of specific ball? I am mostly a Storm/Roto bowler--no urethane. One T-Zone for spares. I found on...

dry sand vs wet sand on ball spinner
I have a ball spinner and usually use water when using sanding pads. I know that using water supposedly extends the use of a pad--less clogging etc--but I think I get a more aggressive or tru (no pun intended) cut when spinning dry. (yes I know I will get fewer uses when sanding dry) Has anyone else...

returning ball to factory finish
I know that general knowledge about getting a ball to OB factory finish is not entirely possible because balls are finished at the factory with their machines/surfacing equipment--but--I think I remember a post by someone (mulemech on reddit) that states that he has achieved OB finish using a series...

pin carry. 12 lb balls
I currently use a variety of storm/roto asym & sym balls--in 14 pounds--70 yrs old but fairly active. Current about 13 ball speed. Wondering if I would lose much carry if I tried a 12 pound ball --looking for more ball speed. I realize arm swing height etc could give me more speed, but that some...

Thumb blister
I am developing a blister on the back of my thumb just below the knuckle. I use trurbo switch grips. Main balls: Halo solid pin up and Astro Physics also pin up. Hammer palstic spare. Our league shot 42 ft-- light oil and lanes burn up quickly. I'm 7o years old--returning to bowling after 25 years a...

Thumb callous--getting rid off
I have a good sized callous/bump on the inside of my thumb just above where the thumb bends at the knuckle. I realize that there are some thumbhole adjustments that must be made, but my question is how to relieve or reduce this bump. It's not entirely hardened and is sore. When I begin to bowl I hav...
