New Youtube channel

Hello people ! I hope everyone is well. During thew COVID19 quarantine i decided to start a You Tube channel about some ideas i have, mainly somebowling experiments, tests, and reviews. It might host some other bowling related videos too. I am a You Tube newbie, and have no gear to film stuff, so i ...

This is correct. Storm plastics are shipped with Brunswick labels on the shipping boxes.
Is it only spareballs (by Storm) that are made in the Brunswick factory?

Re: Brunswick purchases EBI

Where are Storm (and 900global and Roto Grip) balls being made?

I heard that high performance ones are made in the US and low/spareballs are made in Mexico. Is there any truth to that?

Are Storm balls also being made in the same Mexican plant as Brunswick's.

For those of us not very familiar with some terms and descriptions, photos or video would be better and self explanatory. Even cut in grips is something i am interested in (i am not a pro shop operator). Thanks!

Re: How do I increase my bowling ball speed?

That's kinda weird. Long ago when they taught to raise the ball, it was harder for me. Once i watched the USBC video showing how and why to lower the ball and move back, it felt kinda easy to pick up for me. (to lower ball speed significantly was a bit harder but still not complicated to me). For me...

Re: Question about measuring rev rate

From the numbers you are giving, there could be some error. The gap between them is a bit too big. When measuring the whole lane the RPMs are more . But they are not the true RPMs the player has. In our alleys here there is so much noise i don't know if i would be able to single out the "thumps" on ...

Well i dont know what "gravity keeps the pin low" offers to this discussion. Gravity is constant, but not all kinds of hits keep pins low, so....

Re: Question about measuring rev rate

Always count the revs off the hand. That is what the player imparts on the ball. Everything else is effected by other parameters (ball core, lane, lane oil, ball surface). Weird way you chose there to measure them though. I hadn't thought to use sound instead of sight to do it. I think using sound i...

Re: Brunswick DOT

I believe this is what you are referring to: …...and I think you are confused on this point. A ball is designed as a system to react a certain way & do what is intended. One cannot redesign /reorient the core by drilling it in an 'inverted' manner. IF...

Re: PAP marking and rules

Hadn't heard of it elsewhere, but had the idea myself a few months back, so i did it in one of my balls. It was the only legal way. Looks great if you make the circle a bit big and colored bright and in contrast with the local color. Mine is yellow.

Re: Easy RPM chart

For a very quick way to know where someone is, its ok i guess. But since it incorporates all the parameteres than alter it, it is not the accurate way. Which is the one off the hand, with a slow mo camera, and on the first frames of the video. Since for these things i like to be accurate, i always d...

Re: Surface Speculation

Its hard to say what "the right thing to do " is. There are many things that can be done or perceived wrong. Even the impression of how strong or early the ball reacts on the lane (which lane, same lane, same line, same pattern? you get my point ) Usually new balls don;t have the exact surface adver...

Re: Brunswick DOT

Question : As i recall, there are 3 types of asymmetric balls in relation to the pin : 1.pin asymmetric (most of the mass of the core near the pin) 2.mass neutral ( most of the mass of the core near the center) 3.pin away asymmetric (most of the mass of the core, on the opposite side of the pin). So...

Re: The core hitting the pocket...

Nice video.... i think we are describing different things, or we interpret them differently. For example in this video, if the black light green dot is the pin, what i see is that it STARTS standing up at release (the circle it makes is huge almost the total circumference of the ball), and at the p...
