Re: Grip Pressure, Tape, and Optimal Mechanics
I can add more tape to the top but it starts to feel uncomfortable on my hand. Almost like it’s changing my span which I thought was a myth but idk. I have an appointment to try more forward pitch which I’ve never done. Adding forward will slow the thumb coming out of the ball, I’d only do it if yo...

Re: Grip Pressure, Tape, and Optimal Mechanics
How is this if the ball slowly comes off your thumb with hand on top of ball?jegreco516 wrote: ↑April 9th, 2021, 1:34 pmRight now, too much pressure is needed just to hold onto the ball. This is occurring even with many pieces of tape in the fro t and back.

Re: Grip Pressure, Tape, and Optimal Mechanics
There’s gonna be a need for a little pressure at the base of your thumb and force the thumbnail against the back of the ball, the key is to relax on the down swing

For a house shot, I like the Nuclear Cell. Tournament I would want something not as Jumpy on the backend

That’s a lot of symmetricals, I’d say Rubicon or Omega Crux

Re: Clipping thumb hole late
I’d say a larger drill angle and shorter Pin to Pap to retain tilt, I’d try less surface first

Re: Sym vs Asym
Eric, have you had the chance to see the Rubicon’s? Like to know your thoughts since they’re coming out with cores that are supposed to act like symmetricals with weight holes.

Re: Sym vs Asym
Ok. But isn't the player supposed to make his ball hit later when his tilt will be lower? Can you explain why this happens? In short pin to pap balls, isn't the core already near the most stable position ? Doesn't that mean that the axis and tilt will get low fast? Thanks ! 1. High tilt players nat...

Re: USBC Dues?
that depends on the league - our league doesn't have subs pay. we are picking up where we left off, I believe. Honestly, the league leadership is so disorganized that I don't think THEY know. Should be a new league and get payouts (prorated depending on how many weeks missed) from last year if you ...

Re: USBC Dues?
Substitutes have to pay even if it’s just one night they sub, and everyone basically paid for only a half year for the 19-20 season. Some finished winter, some just ended it in March.
Are you saying you’re picking up where 2019/2020 winter left off or starting a new season?

Re: how far would you go to get a ball drilled
I wouldn’t argue going to see Tom Carter, but I agree with Tomahawk on communication with local PSO. Very rarely is it just a one time adjustment when doing changes. Take a ball you don’t mind plugging a couple times or more until you are satisfied.

Re: Sym vs Asym
They need longer pin to paps to burn off tilt, low flare layout won’t get the ball into a roll for them

Re: Sym vs Asym
If you want to have a discussion about it and eliminate what makes the balls unique, you can’t go from one spectrum to the polar opposite on a ball scale. Now if you would have gone from a Results solid to a Bias Solid etc to give opposite ends of a asymmetrical solid comparison by saying hey this i...
