Re: reactive Short pin layout vs Urethane

Show us a video, wouldn’t be the first time you “fixed” it but throw the ball the way you always have.

Re: reactive Short pin layout vs Urethane

You can’t even move left of second arrow as it is now, so you don’t have to worry about that

Re: Need tips for playing on Boardwalk with my arsenal.

The pearls could react to violently depending on layout, so surface will be key. Low flare or smooth arc (typically pin under) is what I’d want.

Re: Should I get' the phase 3?

You misread my post, I don’t like strong asymmetrical pearls for the third game. I’m for symmetrical pearls as they dry up because they’re smoother off the spot but still get back. He was wanting his stronger ball (Astrophysix) for the third game.

Re: How many average games can you bowl before wrist pain

Pain vs fatigue are different. Trying to hold your hand cocked and cupped the whole swing will take some getting used too. John always has great posts about fitness and is spot on about Jim’s post for you. Rome wasn’t built in a day, bowl a couple games and use video to ensure you’re not reinforcing...

He uses three positions for the psa. In the thumb, half way between thumb and pap, and on the VAL.

Re: Getting Fingers on the inside of the ball

Aim towards target, what I mean by lead with ring finger is it should be the most forward (your hand will be behind the ball instead of the side)

Two boards is nothing

Re: Getting Fingers on the inside of the ball

Listen to the PSO, lead with ring finger and inside elbow. For your approach and slow arm swing 19 mph off the hand is still muscling it. The ball hooked because you were in the dry ONCE AGAIN. No where did I state the wrist is the problem, it’s the arm swing and closing of the right shoulder from p...

Re: Getting Fingers on the inside of the ball

Baby steps, work on getting your hand behind the ball first. You’re focusing on the last part of the chain and not concentrating on the position that the arm needs to be in. Lead with the inside elbow and quit pulling the ball down.
