Re: Sym vs Asym
Eric:
You mentioned that high tilt players are not going to like how the gyroscopic effects prevent their ball from actually rolling when using a low flare layout. Can your expound on this statement?

Re: Radical Bowling Technologies Results+ Spin Time & Full Review
MegaMav: Great info on the video. Need your advice - I'm looking at the Results line-up and they all look intriguing. Presently throwing a Zing with a short pin layout with considerable surface on a 42' THS. Specs. Speed - 19, Tilt - 19, Rotation - 70, PAP - 4 13/16 X 1/2 up, RR - 310. According to ...

Axis Migration
I've been lead to believe that the closer the axis migration is to the pin the harder the ball will turn left.
Example - 90 x 2 1/4 x 45.
If so, are there any dangers associated with Radical equipment with this layout?
I'm afraid that with the high DA the ball will never slow down.

Re: Layout Help
Eric & Megamav:
Thank you both for your Input. In the video Mo makes it appear that you just put the PSA on the VAL and off you go. I guess you should follow the process outlined in selecting the proper layout. I will follow the suggestion and see what happens.

Would you agree with MegaMav that the PSA on VAL would not be a great layout for my specs?
Also what recommendation would you have at this time?
Thank you.

MegaMav:
Thanks for the response. I guess your saying that putting the PSA on the VAL would not be a good idea for me! Looking at the Pin to Spin line it obviously revs up early. Would you recommend the PSA between the thumb and VAL as a good alternative?
Thank you.

DIFFERENTIAL RATIO
I'm trying to learn the science of the game and after reading an article by Mo in the Nov. 2010 edition of BOWLING THIS MONTH titled "Differential Ratio" I don't find many ball descriptions that cite this info. According to Mo "The differential ratio of the drilled ball is the most si...

Quite a contrast from my Sym. layout to your recommendation for the Sym. benchmark. How did you arrive at those figures?
Thanks,

Pin is located next to ring finger and the drilling is probably around 40X50. I don't think the ball goes into the roll phase soon enough and just want to experiment with a different drilling before purchasing another ball. Local ball driller is just beginning and not sure if he understands how to l...

Where can I find the spin time for balls. I've looked at some of the manufactures websites and haven't been able to find any info. This information seems important when purchasing a ball.
