All the schools he is looking at are either NAIA or USBC Collegiate .. were staying away from anything club based.
Both NAIA and NCAA bowling is governed by USBC Collegiate.

From my notes, 7448 Grey Scotch Brite is about 800 grit, depending on pressure?
800 ANSI(sandpaper), 1500 FEPA "P"(abralon).

I'm never sure which standard is being used when people talk about surface grit.

Re: Is this ball drilled upside down or wrong?

Found some pictures of new, undrilled, balls on Ebay that have that stamp (including a Resurgence). If it was for marking hand position or orientation, why would it be on the ball before drilling? (I did find it odd that the little finger always seems to point towards the pin). action 3.jpg bedlam 3....

Re: Q on axis tilt

Less tilt = larger track diameter. Larger track diameter = more surface contact for each revolution of the ball. Yeah, the car and bike tire analogies don't really help. I haven't found anything online that gives a good visual representation. (sorry, I usually watch YT on incognito mode to not mess ...

That's the center of gravity stamp for Columbia balls. The PSO didn't do it. (It IS a bit far from the pin.)

On the first show that they used specto, I think they said the speed & rev's were an average and not from one spot on the lane.

Any chance your re-install left a "windows.old" folder? Some installs will leave one even if you don't ask for it. If it did, it might have a copy of your app.

If so, you need to keep the center shaft above the equator of the ball. At the equator the ball won't spin. Below the equator it will spin the oth...

BINGO! I know plenty of bowlers who "Never do anything wrong". If they were allowed, they would change the ball surface any time they didn't strike.

Thanks, Jim :D . I was leaning that way, but I wanted to be sure. The pictures at the bottom of the pdf were showing test fitting after drilling so I wasn't sure if I could go by those. Also, I received a pm suggesting I contact Fitdocsr about my "table top thumb" issue. Any idea what that means? :l...
