Arsenal Help
I know...I know, these questions get somewhat monotonous but I'm looking for suggestions. First of all, I dropped down to 14 lb this year, so I am rebuilding. My arsenal consists of all Hammer equipment: Scandal/S Hybrid Sym), Web Tour (Solid Sym), Black Widow Pink (asym pearl), and Orange Vibe (sym...

Re: Twister Pins?
Wow! I have never seen so many corner pins. I bowled 6 games and left 20 10 pins and 9 7 pins. I tried every trick I had in my bag including hand position, speed, ball changes, and line changes. Inside, outside, didn't matter. Another guy on my pair left 27 10 pins. If I had to bowl with those pins ...

Twister Pins?
Has anyone bowled in a house using Twister brand pins? I understand that they are a synthetic, not wood pin. What have you seen regarding pin action and did you have to go lighter, heavier, or normal hits to get the carry? I have a tourney in a house using these and I've heard they mixed differently...

Polish question
I'm curious if anyone has ever experimented with auto polish compounds (not wax) on their equipment. It just seems to me that a product like the CTD polish "powered by Turtle Wax" has to be close to something in Turtle Wax's existing line. I just can't see them coming up with a new formula...

Resurfacing a new ball
What are the current thoughts about resurfacing a new bowling ball to the same specs before you get used to it? The idea is that the factory surface is nearly impossible to recreate. Say a new ball is 500/2000, I would take my own pads and redo it to 500/2000 as that would be a surface I can recreat...

Anyone bowl a pro-Am?
I'm going to be bowling in a PWBA pro am and was wondering how the lanes are generally conditioned for pro-ams? Is it the same pattern they use for the tournament or is something like a THS put down?
Just wondering.
Just wondering.

Re: New ball..Not sure I like it
I guess I would say I have a high rotation. I can change hand positions, but my standard release is more off the side a little north of 45 deg. Does that help any?

Rule Question
I went up against a player tonight that bowled one game normal one hand throw. Then he started switching to a two handed "Belmo" style (not very successfully), and changed back and forth. Is this legal? My thought is that as long as he is throwing the ball with the same hand it would be ok...
