2LS to dual angle - should be doable, right?
Okay, so 2LS is special for 2 handed/no thumb bowlers. But in essence, there is a logic to the madness, and that logic should be able to be converted to dual angle, right? The same angles are measureable, same goes for the pin-to-PAP. Is this something that anyone has looked into? I got four two-han...

Re: Is this an issue?
I can feel my arm has lost a fair bit of strength from covid lockdowns and my surgery, I can't cup my wrist so I compensate with my elbow a lot. But I also bought new shoes recently, and started sliding again, which until Thursday didn't feel great, then it suddenly felt right to do. Easier to smoot...

Re: Is this an issue?
There must be much more going on with your hand than I can address on the internet. If you are able to bowl comfortably, without pain, great! There is a normal tendency of trying to create higher rev rates when using an Easter type grip. Try to resist turning the ball early, keeping the arm and han...

Re: Is this an issue?
Nicely done! (Voice not too bad) Your hand is much more flexible than I had imagined, there are some bricks out there. First impression, your palm is fairly wide, fingers appear to be somewhat tapered. There isn't anything that indicates your hand structure is out of the ordinary. It is difficult f...

Re: Is this an issue?
More likely than not, lack of flexibility is probably your main issue. When working out, include a decent amount of stretching into your workout regimen. Stretch everything from your fingers to your toes. I've seen some very stiff hands, honestly, no one had to resort to the extreme types of pitche...

Is this an issue?
Okay, I'm trying to change my release, and I'm trying to get more to the inside. Now, I have realized the gym is my friend, for underarm strength, that's a work in progress. But, my outer (pinky) side of my hand is so far from my ball, when my hand is at a proper position, my fingers is basically be...

Re: Coaching 2 handers
Yup, they do all get comfortably to the line. Only one who lofts is 2m tall so he's kinda excused, but I'll work with him to get him as low as he can comfortably

Re: Coaching 2 handers
Kyle Troup are Chris Via are 'P' types. As for step lengths, due to the shorter back swing 2-handers usually have, the steps can't get too long. Similar timing principle to 1-handers where you want them walking passed the ball and creating some lag so the ball can swing freely and not be pulled dow...

Re: Coaching 2 handers
*Text* Perpendicular, do you have any examples of bowlers here? The other type seems to be the norm on the pro tour, at least those who make it to the bright lights. Any thoughts on step lengths? For one handers I have in my notes normal, normal, long, short, longest (slide). Timing is ofc nothing,...

Coaching 2 handers
Hi! ETBF doesn't have anything concrete on 2-handed bowling. I am currently waiting on the national coaching team to get back to me on this, but until then: Steps and timing, what do I do with my juniors? A qualified guess would be that the 3 channel concept would stay to keep the body away from the...

Re: Need tips for playing on Boardwalk with my arsenal.
Ended up playing mostly with my spare ball, got too much reaction with the other two balls I brought, for the first two matches at the same center. In the 3rd match, which was at a different center, but the same pattern, I ended up playing with the Timeless inside the lane launching it out to board ...

Re: Need tips for playing on Boardwalk with my arsenal.
What is it with people with zero tilt always saying it’s special lol Never said it was special. It is however unusual in non-two finger bowlers. JJ.JPG This shows your initial track with 0* of tilt, any less, as in Negative tilt it will hit the thumb hole. In the video shown in this thread I would ...

Re: Need tips for playing on Boardwalk with my arsenal.
Marvel Pearl: 85° × 3 1/4 × 75°
Inferno: 60° × 3 × 50°
Timeless: 55° × 4 1/2 × 45°
PAP has moved to 4 3/8 right, 2" up. So my layouts are not the same as when I drilled these
And I'm not trying to do anything at all, I've played like I play for 12 years...

Re: Need tips for playing on Boardwalk with my arsenal.
You're misunderstanding me. I'm a full roller only by tye definition that I got 0 tilt, but I don't have my track between my fingers, which is the other definition. In my eyes, full roller means you use the full circumference of the ball as track, which 0 tilt bowlers do. It's been discussed here be...

Re: Need tips for playing on Boardwalk with my arsenal.
Can't drill new,, I'm broke, and my pap is so high up, pin under doesn't exist for me  1 1/2 up on my pap last I checked it some while ago. But I know what you mean. Also, when I get to drill new equipment, since my pap is so high up and I full roll (in the 0 tilt definition of full roller), ho...

Re: Need tips for playing on Boardwalk with my arsenal.
Define a smooth layout, just to be safe. What range is smooth? By strength of cover, I'd say my balls go Marvel Pearl, Inferno/Timeless (not sure here, Inferno can MOVE, Timeless can too, but more on the fresh than when it's dragged down), Shadow Ops, Virtual Gravity Nano (due to deadness), Widow Sp...

Re: Need tips for playing on Boardwalk with my arsenal.
TL;DR:
Out of these balls, what would you use with my specs, and what would you do with the surface of these balls to suit playing on short oil?

Need tips for playing on Boardwalk with my arsenal.
We got a nation wide bowling league in Norway, like Sweden, and we got 3 matches in two different centers, all 3 matches are away matches, and all on 35' Kegel Boardwalk, which is a really bad pattern for me with my low tilt mid-high RPM and low-mid speed. But I am one of the better overall players ...
