Do you have any drills to suggest to properly learn such a release ?
How would you go about practicing?

Re: What's my REAL PAP
great bowling !
I am interested in the layout that tracked on the thumb
Do you perchance remember how it was laid out ?
Any details you remember would be good.
Also, I want to know how the new layout works for you, impressions etc.

Re: What's my REAL PAP
If you had subscription to extra frame I'd point you to the latest bowl expo interviews. What you might find interesting was Bill O Neil's comments for hammer, where he states that he finds a ball he likes and puts various drillings on it. I'm not saying you should only have 1 ball, was just trying ...

Re: Need advice on re-drill and new ball layout
I'm sure your pro shop can wait a day or two more till Mo replies :) What kind of condition is the cover in? How many games has the ball got on it, when was the last resurface, oven treatment etc. I'd personally go with slightly shorter pin distance and probably smaller angle totals but as mentioned...

Re: What's my REAL PAP
I agree with Mo. If you are able to do all those things with your hand, you could get away with just the 1 ball. I believe it was on xtra frame this year, when after WRW jr won another title, they asked the 900 global ball rep about his equipment. His response was: He only uses this ball model, they...

picture width
I find it irritating when a picture that has 2560x2048 resolution is placed in a post. It makes the text area wider than my screen, so I have to keep scrolling left to right and back to be able to read. Since I'm a visual guy, I get lost reading the text this way. Could the forum be modified to auto...

Re: need ball that stores energy
That's actually a good idea.
Like the KERS in formula 1 cars.
Some kind of motor, a battery shaped core (we've seen worse).
Go bowling, then go home and power your house lights from your bowling ball.

Re: Split: IBPSIA Discussion
I missed this one, Here's my opinion. If you are not satisfied with your pro shop, go elsewhere. The end. My mention in the other post was a specific answer to a specific question and I stand by it. To JMerell: I feel that all pro shop operators should go through coaching training too. And I intend ...

Re: Leftie Ultra Zone Benchmark Layout
Many Thanks Mo,
I will measure his track to verify the tilt first, as it seems very low and I don't trust the overlay that much.
I will follow up with a video when we have drilled the ball and put some work into the hinge and knee bend
Thanks for everything.

Good evening, I would like to thank you for responding to my previous request for help. Paul, Mo and Jim, all your comments are greatly appreciated. Re: Measuring RPM???
use a program like kinovea
time 1 full rotation = x
rpm = 60 / x
i.e. 1 rotation = 0.2 seconds
rpm = 60 / 0.2 = 300rpm

Re: How do you know if a person is qualified?
To jb8 I like to hear both sides of the story before making a verdict. For now, could you give us a few more details about yourself, like how long you have been bowling, some kind of average, what kind of shots you play on. If you have any idea of axis rotation, tilt, rev rate they would probably de...

glueing bits of different posts together does not make a fact or prove a point.
As Mo said, different balls can have different paps for the same bowler.

Re: Manufacturer/factory "Seconds"?
Yeah, if you have a specific drilling in mind, you may not be able to do it with a second, static weights may get in the way.
Make sure that you have your pro shop locate the cg before proceeding with drilling since it also could be mis-marked (or double marked) .
