Re: Grip Pressure, Tape, and Optimal Mechanics
What about the other fingers? what role is the index and pinky doing? Are they supporting the ball also, and how do you go about that?

Re: What is BowlingChat worth to you?
When i mentioned this site to a local ball driller, he went to page one about dual angle layouts an taught himself how to use this system, he is now the best in our area. Since covid there has been little on this site as few are bowling, but i still recommend the site to everyone who has an interest...

one handeded/no thumb blower
Hi
a friend is a no thumb bowler, but hes putting it in the gutter a bit to often,
with this type of bowling, beening mostly muscled? is this his problem being so inconsistent?
I don't have a video, so hoping for some helpful comments.
Thought i should mention he is a one handed no thumb bowler.

Re: where to move?
What i am looking at is just that fine adjustment, sometimes i carry the tenpin, sometimes not, without making a bigger move or ball, was just wondering which move would to give me the point of difference to carry the tenpin more consistently. We only play on sports patterns, now an then we get an e...

Pin below fingers lay out?
A friend is confused with a lay out drawn on his ball with the pin between the fingers and thumb,
as the drilling an val angles are something like 70 an 80, this is supposed to be a go long ,roll late drilling,
i have heard this happens depending on your pap? Will this still go long?

fingers holes on pap
Just watched a Russian lady bowler Varvara Gryaznona on utube, i think the comp was Bowling Promotion,
anyway the ball going down the lane showed her fingers holes spinning around the pap. The video wasnt helpful to see her release. How would you get the fingers holes on your pap?

Re: BowlingChat Upgrade to PHP7.2/phpBB 3.2 - *COMPLETED*
Great to see the upgrade went well, but if i may say the site is hard to read. It may be the back ground colour and/or the font colour, or too many different font colours/sizing. My son is a graphic designer, on his next visit home i will ask his opinion and pass on. Other wise all good, i am on her...

Re: Baker format team?
I wouldn't look at it as high avg vs lower avg - look at it as who is better or more reliable in the clutch. I know high avg bowlers who CHOKE when the game is on the line, and I know lower avg bowlers that when it's coming down to it, they will punch out every time, or at the very least mark. Put ...

We have a tournament in which have an All Events ( single, dbl, teams) to qualify for the masters,
then 14 games to bowl head to head to find a winner. And this is a senior tournament!

Re: Anybody Ever Fly Overseas with Bowling Balls?
New Zealanders fly to Australia or the USA regularly without many hassles with their bowling equipment. Just make sure your under the required weight, tough to do with bags/balls. Check your baggage on collection for damage, as they are heavy, the handlers sometimes just heave them resulting in the ...
