fingers holes on pap

Just watched a Russian lady bowler Varvara Gryaznona on utube, i think the comp was Bowling Promotion,
anyway the ball going down the lane showed her fingers holes spinning around the pap. The video wasnt helpful to see her release. How would you get the fingers holes on your pap?

Re: BowlingChat Upgrade to PHP7.2/phpBB 3.2 - *COMPLETED*

Great to see the upgrade went well, but if i may say the site is hard to read. It may be the back ground colour and/or the font colour, or too many different font colours/sizing. My son is a graphic designer, on his next visit home i will ask his opinion and pass on. Other wise all good, i am on her...

Re: Baker format team?

I wouldn't look at it as high avg vs lower avg - look at it as who is better or more reliable in the clutch. I know high avg bowlers who CHOKE when the game is on the line, and I know lower avg bowlers that when it's coming down to it, they will punch out every time, or at the very least mark. Put ...

Baker format team?

We are having our first baker format comp soon.
Wondering the best way to utilize the higher avg bowler with the lower avg bowler
within the 5 person team?

Re: Marathon tournaments?

We have a tournament in which have an All Events ( single, dbl, teams) to qualify for the masters,
then 14 games to bowl head to head to find a winner. And this is a senior tournament!

Re: Anybody Ever Fly Overseas with Bowling Balls?

New Zealanders fly to Australia or the USA regularly without many hassles with their bowling equipment. Just make sure your under the required weight, tough to do with bags/balls. Check your baggage on collection for damage, as they are heavy, the handlers sometimes just heave them resulting in the ...

Re: I'm quitting bowling and it is thanks to house shots

Move to New Zealand, most centers here know have decent oil machines, just about every center will have a sport pattern on legue night. Tournaments have to be 5:1 or below.

Re: New Ball Specs, Collusion?

I see there are 2 people at this time that don't think there is collusion, Wish they would have commented as to why they think not. I could use something to dial back my pessimism. I see this type of thing all the time in my profession. I am an electrician governed by the Nation Fire Protection Age...

Re: Drills.

We did drills last night, coach explained how and why, i did them because like i said to keep an open mind, i still feel they weren't totally necessary as i felt i could get the same result from a full approach, but 1 drill was best done at the foul line was the backup, harder then i thought as i am...

Drills.

I have never been able to do drills comfortably, mostly getting balanced right. After my xmas break from bowling i had my first practice bowl, wasn't pretty as expected from 6 weeks off. So i thought do some drills to get some things right. I tried but its a no go. Why? i asked myself are they not f...

Re: Timing

Thanks for the comments, i have finished bowling until mid January, 2 weeks before league stars up again, so i dont want to do a vid until then, just having a good break, I was hoping for some useful comments but i know thats not really the way to go as a video helps any comments, so i will post a v...

Timing

My timing is good so says my coach, but i do not get good leverage or 'time' on the ball at release. I know sometimes when i do, its when my sliding foot has stopped, i think Mr Merrell mentioned this recently in his posts to Krava? Its my intention to work with my coach to achieve this constantly, ...

Re: The core hitting the pocket...

Check out some of the intial MOtion hole discussions. Mo talks about gyroscopic inertia and how that helps go through the pins and carry. I believe he talks about the core position at impact and what is beneficial for carry. On a side note, Earl Anthony always wanted the ball at its maximum rpms wh...

Re: The core hitting the pocket...

Some of your answers i dont understand, too technical for me.
But what i think iam getting from the answers is... every bowler has a different release, so their ball will have its own core axis spin position when hitting the pocket.

Re: The core hitting the pocket...

Some very informative answers thank you. But not exactly what i am after. To make it simple...the pin is at the top of the core, depending on the bowler, sometimes i see the pin almost on its side facing left (right handed), so the core is now laying sideways. I know it will be different because of ...
