Re: How do you tape your thumbhole and why?

I just use the bowlers tape in the back of the hole.
If I have to take a piece out, I don't want the sticky leftovers in the grip between my fingers and the surface of the finger holes

Re: My video, Your best estimate- Close enough

Close enough is not good enough IMHO. One of the most important things everyone needs to know accurately in order to improve their game and obtain proper layouts for your game are your delivery specs. http://wiki.bowlingchat.net/wiki/index.php?title=Proshop_Information#Bowler_Measurements_.26_Refer...

Re: My video, Your best estimate- Close enough

Its good to see other left handers on here; great bowling. With your style, have you ever had any wrist injuries? It appears that the entire weight of the ball puts a huge strain on your left wrist...just an observation. We made a few adjustments to my spans and pitches. The most help was lengtheni...

My video, Your best estimate- Close enough

I'm going to give my signature a shot. I have a couple videos, and "your best estimate is close enough" What can you tell me about my speed, tilt and RPM? These are about 3 years old and using a Turbo urethane, but a close up of recent shots is about the same http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

On the other hand I have an undrilled burgundy Columbia U Dot that somebody gave me that I will be keeping just for histories sake, since it is undrilled.[/quote] My wine-dot was a boat anchor...used it for a few years and it ended up on the rack at the bowling alley But no way any one is ever going...

figuring rev-rate

I have a digital camera and counted "frame by frame" watching my "no flair" ball go around 19 times from the foul line to the head pin. If I can get the amount of time it took for the ball to go from the foul line to the head pin, is there a table that will give my "rev-rate...

Re: pin location new in box

and a shorter pin to cg distance can result in a much more mellow reaction after drilling?
1.what marking is now the cg?
2. does the manufacturer brand label mean anything any more? (other than who made it)

back 20 years ago, we needed to go through all the boxes to find a top weight "new in box" to match what we wanted the ball to do after drilling. does it make a difference now "new in box" where the pin location is in relation to the label markings on the shell? 1. If so, what is...
