Re: Best balls to use a shorter pin layout on
pin axis drillings are something we did a long time ago ...I have used them on symmetrical cores a lot but am only now starting to try it out on asym cores ...I have found the amount of side rotation still dictated how much back end you create ...no matter how much the ball flares...i have a physix ...

Re: ruff surface
I have tried 4 different types and never got the results I wanted. If your a shop, and want to do quality work, spend the money. Use the plug cutter for cutting down urethane inserts. Thanks ...That is what I was afraid of ...We have tried two different cutters and both left the surface rough ...St...

Re: ruff surface
Doing plug work is by far what I take most pride in. I want the ball to look like its new when I am done with it. I have used every plug cutter, router, grates, etc to try to get the best plug work. So for me, the best thing you can use is a router with a router shield attached. Plug cutters, IMO t...

Re: looking for some help with a new bowler fitting!
Unless you can convince the customer to change his mind you only have two choices, either sell him the ball he wants or send him to another driller. I would sell him the ball he wants with the reminder that I don't recommend it. As far as changing his mind, some will listen and some won't. All you ...

So now we are no longer at the place where who is the best at figuring out the shot first but who has the advantage of ball reps and other staffers feeding you info ...No wonder we have lost the scoring pace of the game ...It is not up to the bowler to be the one in control ...Steve S

Re: 2018 US Women's Open Final Observations
I like the idea of 2 balls on each lane and let's play ball ...may the best bowler not ball rep or coach win ...I came from the days when there was no coaching or ball reps around to help the bowler ...the two ball rule keeps the pattern intact and doesn't allow the bowlers to tear it a part and mak...

Re: Different initial tracks
A bowler's PAP never changes as long as the release remains the same. What does change is the measurement based on how much the axis migrates before the ball actually hits the lane. Your true PAP should be determined using a plastic spare ball that has no core to initiate early axis migration. If y...
