Re: Barnes ditches ColEboMerAck for 900 Global

Whatever the reason, I'm glad and congrats to him. I like watching pros throwing something other than the big three since I don't get to see them thrown much in my house.

That is a great deal. What do most consider the essential grits? For instance I don't hear 240 or 600 grit pads being used very much.

Re: Banned Balls in high school bowling.

I understand it a bit, but everyone high school age can view PG-13 rated movies unaccompanied with worse language than what are on these balls.

Re: Coverstock Longevity

I get what you are saying and I have done both the Revivor and home bath methods before, but I wouldn't consider either to restore the ball to brand new. I do agree that it restores a lot more than just ball cleaner and a towel, but it will never be like brand new IMO.

Coverstock Longevity

When considering current ball technology, I know that a given coverstock has a certain lifespan. In order to extend that lifespan and get the most use out of it, it is recommended to clean the ball surface immediately after use with some form of ball cleaner and to use an oil absorbing towel to wipe...

Re: USBC Open Championships 2014

Interesting note that this year singles and doubles will all be bowled on the same pair. You will not switch lanes in between like in the past.

Re: *NEW* - MOtion Hole - Video - How To & Demonstration

So I finally got around to trying the MOtion hole last night in my pin up IQ Pearl. As of late it just didn't seem like this ball was having the recovery that I would like out of it. I started with the 3/4" hole and did notice a difference, but it really woke up after I had it drilled out to 1&...

Re: noticable difference in PBA patterns this summer.

I've been wanting to bowl in a PBAX league for years. I finally moved to a lot larger area recently and my local house was going to have one. However, I show up the first day with only 5 other people wanting to join, so they cancelled the league. I'm sure one of the houses in Atlanta have one, but I...

Re: Performance Fit Question - Help!

Mega - It might just be the angle in the photo, but I put my thumb in again and made sure it was all the way in and it looked like the same results. John - That is a good point and I don't have the correct measuring equipment to check. Next time I'm at the alley I will grab a span gauge and see wher...
