Re: Lower speed rev dominant

If you're going to change his grip why not go with the pitch changes above instead of semi fingertip/conventional and see how that effects him?

Re: Lower speed rev dominant

Pitch changes to lower their rev rate?

viewtopic.php?f=13&t=10460

From the post:

* To Decrease Rev Rate - add 1/8 reverse to both fingers and 1/8 forward to thumb

Re: Lost a ball, looking to replace. . .

Would probably keep my recommendations the same. Unless you feel like you need something below the IQTP or Marvel S something above seems like a good replacement.

Yeah, I would think either the Rubicon, RST or Reality would be a good replacement for the Crux.

For THS: Verge Pearl 4 1/2 x 30 @ 2000
For Sport: Incognito 45 x 4 1/2 x 75 @ 2000

Re: Trying to find a ball

When you go to a pro shop to get a ball and have it drilled the pro shop operator should measure your fingers. You will need to convey that you only want to use two fingers vs two fingers and thumb. They probably also have multiple color grip choices for you to choose from.

Re: What is a fair handicap system

One of the leagues I bowl in does 90% of the team difference in average. We've been doing it for the last 5 years and have seen 2 league champs with 5 man averages under 1000, 2 between 1000-1100 and one from a team with an average over 1100. So I think it does tend to balance out a little better th...

Re: Effective Ball Motion Without a Hole! - Full Seminar

I can answer a couple of these: 2. The Sym layouts have an angle sum separate of 15 degrees (between average and advanced), but the ASYM layouts have angle sum separation of 20 degrees for ABC - not DE. Mo has stopped referring to total sums for a while now. He's been using recommendations on surfac...

Re: Katana dragon vs Zing and Squach vs Conspiracy

Agree with Boyd, need your specs to see if you're on one of the ends of the spectrum. Also do you bowl on sport or mainly THS? None of those balls you listed are medium to light oil even if you were listing the Squatch pearl. For medium to light oil I would recommend one of the following: Intel soli...

Re: layout reactive ball roll like urethane or low flare lay

KYBOB, with that much tilt I don't know if you need a low flare layout/urethane. I would recommend you try a Counter Attack Solid at xx - 4 1/2 - 25.

Re: Bowling layout stuff on Bowling chat Univeristy

The last part mentions using lower ratios for easier THS/Wet-dry conditions. If that's a "Both" type deal. I disagree in regards to the THS part. As yes that makes plenty of sense for a lot of bowlers who stay far to one side, and swing it to the other side. However for someone who's play...

Re: Hitting finger

You could try this:
* To Increase Axis Rotation and Tilt for very high track players - Add 3/8 forward to middle finger and shorten span 1/16. Add 3/8 reverse to ring finger and lengthen span 1/16.

Re: Hitting finger

One handed or two handed? If one and they have been wiki-fit then there are some pitch changes to be made. I'm not sure if those changes will work the same for two handed though

mrbean, I see you are located in Cincinnati. I highly recommend driving down to Newport, KY to Hitt's Pro Shop. Josh does a great job and works with Mo all the time.

Re: help moving left

now the question is what should be attempted to be fixed first? Footwork (not jumping 3-5 boards over right with last step), Dropping shoulder down or keeping wrist straight and not bent? If I had to choose I would go with the wrist, then shoulder then footwork My opinion would be Shoulder, Footwor...

Re: help moving left

#1 if your on a lane and you start out with a medium oil ball and the ball is pretty strong from the start, there is no reason on earth to ever upgrade to a much stronger ball because the oil volume is already low to start with. It will burn out way too fast. Not necessarily true, you were playing ...

Re: Help Nord Score On House Shots

A couple notes: I think you could have used a little more surface on the Rack Attack or even knocked the polish off the Jackpot. Polish is not your friend when you encounter over/under. Instead of getting a new thumb installed, order some RealBowlersTape blue tape . Which is their equivalent to blac...

Re: Help Nord Score On House Shots

Thank you very much! I bowl at Surf tonight. Surf is unique in that they give us 15 min of warm up! So I may have time to do more precise experiments. Is there a more specific test sequence you would like me to try since I have much more time? The more specifics would occur after your initial shot ...

Re: Help Nord Score On House Shots

Wow, that much miss room? I have never had that much miss room in my whole urethane bowling career. Lol. If I could have that, it would be, "shooting fish in a barrel." Ok, help me out here, let's say I try a shot up 5 and it holds to pocket. Then I make the 2 and 1 move left and it still...
