Re: Bowling Injury???
I would suggest a grip analysis done by Mo. When he isn't on the road he's in Richmond. Well worth the drive.

Re: Coverstock Longevity
You need to do more than just de oil the ball. You also have to resurface the ball. You should be hitting the ball with 360 before you de oil the ball to help open up the pores.
After de oiling the ball then take the ball to whatever surface you want it at.

Re: Ball speed
You need to slow your feet down. Moving up on the approach probably won't work. See my earlier post "Solution for fast feet" and "help, too much ball speed"

I will be there. I wouldn't wait too long to commit. Probably down only four of five spots left. Give the shop a call for your spot. Everyone is paying in advance.

Re: Trying to start a PBA League this summer
For our summer PBA league we bowl 4 games switching lanes every game. We bowl three weeks on each pattern. We do not sanction the league so no one has to pay the extra money to sport sanction and the center doesn't have to pull tapes. We use a singles format. I really like bowling against the whole ...

Re: Help! Too Much Speed
I believe that with a little practice it will become natural for you. Myself, I had a slide sole put on my right shoe. I don't know if I could wear a regular shoe now or not. I have lost 5.5 to 6mph off my regular ball speed. I can lose another 1.5 mph if I really concentrate. Give it some time and ...

Re: Help! Too Much Speed
I did not change my starting point on the lane. I am a four stepper and start 6 inches in front of the first dots. If I recall correctly moving me up on the approach was one thing we tried to slow me down. It didn't work. You may find yourself moving up a little on the approach because your steps ma...

Re: Help! Too Much Speed
I was very speed dominate just like you for years. I spent two years working with both Mo and Jim working on among other things slowing down my feet. Most of your ball speed is based on how fast your feet are. I just could not get myself to slow my feet down enough to make a noticeable difference. A...

Re: House conditions - dramatic change from 1st to 2nd half
Hi all, Just curious if this is typical for our Midwest men's handicapped THS leagues. Average Joe bowler comments here except that I am slow speed and rev. dominant. Our typical first half conditions - short oil with flying backends. For me the balls that worked best were the #14 double thumbed Br...

Re: Idea for a MOtion hole on an asym
It will work on a DestroyR. I have a motion holed DestroyR that Mo drilled for me. Definitely gave me a different look from my other two DestroyRs. Same results as what you would see on a symmetric. Drilled a Nightmare with a motion hole. Was not impressed with the results. Curious to your results w...

Re: Same Layout on Multiple Balls
At one time I used the same layout on just about every ball. Even Mo used the same layout (15* 4 25*) on every ball we drilled for me. The reason for that was that I was so speed dominant with such high tilt I needed all the help I could get no matter what the pattern. I adjusted surface based on th...

Re: Ball speed
Put a slide sock on your non slide shoe. This will force you to slow down your steps. see this post,"A Solution for Fast Feet" http://forum.bowlingchat.net/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=6207&p=50982&hilit=solution+for+fast+feet#p50982" onclick="window.open(this.href);return fa...

Re: Alternative to abralon?
There are also abranet pads available. They are cheaper than both siaar and abralon and last longer than both.
I use all that have been listed. I use scotchbrite on the pearls and for surface changes on the lanes.
I use abranet, siiar, and abralon pads at home with the spinner or Haus.

I need to find some time to do a video set, but just been way to busy with life... was going to try to find someone around NW Ohio with a cats system or a video setup that I could pop in and get it done.
