I use the Turbo SwithGrips...the 1st generation inserts had smaller/weaker tabs I broke a couple. Shortly after they did beef up the tabs and I haven't broke one since. It's all really what ya have avaliable to you, the house I bowl and the other house where I most frequent are both Turbo sellers so...

I also use the 50/50 Simple Green and Alcohol mix for everyday cleaning...But I also use Clean and Dull every so often as well....

I've had the Nano soild(sold it), and still have the Taboo and have the Defiant. I have thrown my friends Nexxus and Pursuit. All have been drilled relatively the same. no...I'd bowl more if the price of games went down...$4.25 a game gets expensive really quick....An hourly option would be good but they'd never consider it...would be great to get an hour of no scoring just bowl....

I have recently purcahse a Revivor Oven as well. All I can say is it is far better than the water treatment method I was doing previously...The pads wipe the oil away better since I did fold a few stacked paper towels under them for a lil added pressure.

Buggs41, never thought of an o-ring before, gonna have to give it a try and see how it does. I'd think it could work out well it just has to offer a lil resistance to the slide from wanting to walk....gonna have to stop at Home Depot and get some and give it a whirl.... I usually let them cool a few hours or overnight depending on the time I finish baking them before I resurface them back to desired finish ....I can't find my manual but I think it said to wait at least an hour before use but don't hold me to that...

Buggs41, Yes it sits on the rail and the return cap... for the rail side I took a small piece of pvc and cut it in half to give it some hold on the rail cap. the drop downs for the "gate" are made from PVC furniture T's which I sanded out a lil bit more to allow them to swing I also added ...

I built this set this past summer. The set with the screen is dual purpose it can be used with or without the screen. I purchased one on the Holiday Special,an awesome deal by the way. While I was recovering from a torn muscle in my bicep I ran some of my gear thru a cycle and did a total resurface.....All I can say is WoW....My Taboo is screaming just like it was out of the box....I just did a couple of my friends...

I've had my switchgrip in a white dot for 2 yrs with only super glue and haven't had any problems what so ever...thats all they use at our local proshop and haven't had any come out...
